Science stands on rationality in nature [=creationism]. Many sites containing information on the history of science will therefore be creationist. E.g. Of a father of modern science, Galileo Galilei, it has been written, '... he praised ... Copernicus for his belief in the voice of reason, although it contradicted sense experience. Such a faith rested on the conviction that the world was the product of a personal, rational Creator ... This biblically inspired faith ... is possibly the most precious bequest of this great Florintine ...' (Encyclopedia of World Biography). Also regarded as a father of science, Sir Francis Bacon [1561-1626], stated, 'I had rather believe all the fables in the legends and the Talmud and the Alcoran, than that this universal frame is without a mind' (more). Sir Richard Owen, writing in 1860 in answer to Darwin's The Origin of the Species: "The origin of species is the question of questions in Zoology; the supreme problem which the most striking of our original labourers, the clearest zoological thinkers, and the most successful generalisers, have never lost sight of, whilst they have approached it with due reverence" (more).

Coming from a biblical rather than scientific perspective, the highly respected churchman, Dr. Francis Schaeffer [1912-1984], predicted: "That without the Church's participation in the ecology debate, the environmental movement would adopt pantheism as its foundational doctrine" (more). The abandonment of the scientific foundation of rational design is presumably one of the factors contributing to the threatening, fear-based modern idea that divinely instituted personal freedom must give place to survival of the human species. Some modern science publications have not succumbed to pantheism, atheism, hedonism, diluted marxism, or whatever. Organisations/publications intended 'to keep everybody honest' in the science-religion arena -- NCSE, ACLU, Talk Origins, Skeptic's Societies, and various scientific authorities -- have known of the new, scripturally-sourced developments for some time. See if you can find a meaningful published evaluation or response! Why the resounding silence?
